Aim of the blog

This blog aims to facilitate discussion between civil society and those involved in French diplomacy.

Design and management

The blog publishes information from all ministry departments. All staff are encouraged to contribute. Editorial guidelines have been provided to help contributors write their articles.
Articles are personal and signed.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs website team is responsible for day-to-day editorial, graphical and technical oversight.

The blog is hosted by the Information and Communication Systems department.
The site has been developed with SPIP, open source software under the GNU GPL licence.

Accessibility

The blog has been developed in accordance with French government accessibility guidelines (Référentiel Général d’Accessiblité des Administrations, RGAA) and W3C standards.

The blog is compatible with all available browsers and is accessible to all, except in the event of force majeure.We are committed to continuously improving the accessibility of our content.

The blog is open to visitors for comment.In order to ensure high-quality discussion, comments are moderated before publication. However, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is not responsible for the accuracy of remarks made by contributors in their comments.

Users wishing to post comments must follow certain rules. This blog reserves the right not to post comments which infringe those rules:

  • Comments must not be longer than 1500 words. Please be brief.
  • Identification: Anonymous comments will not be accepted. All comments submitted for posting must include your name and a valid e-mail address. Under Article 434 23 of the French Penal Code, identity fraud is a criminal offence punishable by five years’ imprisonment and a fine of €75,000.
